Our History

Chosen started in 2007 as a World of Warcraft raiding guild on Draenor EU. A lot has changed since then, both in the game and in the guild, but plenty of the people and the spirit of the place have stuck around.

Today we're based on Vek'nilash EU and its connected realms, with members joining us from across factions and servers. Some of us have been here for years, some joined last week. What matters is having people around who enjoy playing together and don't take themselves too seriously.

The Community

Chosen is more than a raid roster. We're an adult gaming community built around WoW, Discord and a group of people who genuinely enjoy spending time together.

You don't need to be a progression raider to fit in. We have people pushing Heroic raids and Mythic+ alongside members who log in for casual runs, social events or simply to catch up in Discord. Cross-faction and cross-realm play means being on the right server or faction matters far less than it used to.

We organise our WoW events through Discord and GuildMesh. Raid sign-ups, Mythic Mondays and other community events are kept in one place so people can see what's happening and get involved without chasing officers around for information.

Adults Only

Chosen is strictly 18+. The Discord can be lively, the humour is often questionable and the language is not always suitable for work. That said, being an adult community isn't an excuse to treat people badly. We expect members to show each other respect and help keep Chosen welcoming.

There is plenty of banter, but there are real friendships behind it too. Many members have known each other for years and quite a few of those friendships now extend well beyond World of Warcraft.

Real-Life Meets

One of the things we're proudest of is that Chosen doesn't stop when everyone logs out. We regularly meet up in real life, from weekends away and birthday gatherings to our larger annual guild holidays.

People have travelled from around the UK and further afield to join us. Nobody is expected to attend, of course, but for those who do, the meets have become a big part of what makes the community what it is.
